White Dyno
I have a Maserati MC12, what should i do with it like accesories, Engine parts, Interior? Any Suggestions ppl?
My Maserati is a 2006. Its primary color is White, and it's secondary is Blue.
t has White and Blue Type R racing seats with Maserati engraved in both seats. I have a Black Racing wheel.
It still has a stock spoiler but i dont know if that effects it speed?
It still has it stock rims but, is that why im asking this question?
Its a DOHC V-12 Supercharged with a 6 speed Transimisson. It has been Dyno Tuned and its best for Circuitry racing.
Please tell me what you think and help me out!!

Engine smoking sometime after rebuild?
I recently had my engine rebuild (top to bottom) with new pistons, rings, values, etc. The dude who rebuild it ran it in for sometime on the dyno, and then for about 600 miles i drove it in very nicely. After which we change oil and i've been driving it since then.
It's now about 3500 miles after the rebuild and it's only recently started smoking (about 500 miles back) when the engine is under strain. As the revs build the engine smoke gets worse. White smoke by the way.
I also found out, my brother topped the oil up about 3000 miles ago (needed it's first top up) with the wrong oil, could this be a possible cause of the problem? Or has something else gone a miss?
Like the previous answer I would check to see where the leak, if any, is coming from. You failed to mention what engine we are discussing so its left to guess work.
White smoke would indicate this is coolant being burned off.
My own personal experience is that late model GM V6's are known to have an intake manifold gasket problems which lead to overheating and cracked/warped heads. This leak causes coolant either outside the manifold, into the crankcase or into the cylinder to be burned.
Coolant leaks could also be becasue of a blown head gasket. A careless rebuild could cause this.
I'd bring it back to the guy that did the rebuild and start questioning.
