sounds like an alright down hill type of bike but you don't say what make the bike is...just what its equipped with. Tell us what it is and we will get back to you on this!
Edit: Yes it is the IH sachem and it is an entry level F/S bike and having owned both a MKIII comp and a IH Azure comp, I can attest to their durability and this one is most certainly better used for AM over freeride. To use this for F/R you might want to upgrade the wheelset otherwise it is a solid platform in my opnion!

how do i clean an old wheel?
i have a wheelset that over a decade old but still in good shape. the spokes have rust and all on them and the rim has lots of leftovers from the brake pads (this bike was never used much).
how do i clean it off so its nice and shiny again?
also, has anyone ever heard of Exage hubs? these wheels have Sun rims with Exage hubs. they look a lot like XTR hubs in design.
I'll tell you how I've done it to great success - Brillo or SOS pads - cleans them right up - you might have to use a few, as they fall apart quickly. They even leave what seems like a protectant on the steel. I also use Mr. Clean Cleaning eraser (a spongelike thingy available at discount and grocery stores) for light cleaning
Are you doing anything illigal on your hub ? if so, it most likely your ISP who have been given a court injunction and/or are in the progress of tracing the people who are using your hub……..
Or maybe you have just messed something up ….
