stunts, going fast for fun, going and coming to school everyday...?
kind of hard to school but ok, stunts dependes, slow but u can build up, i used to mountain bike to school, fast ,easy to ride, suspension lets it jump and drop really well. Now I walk its a little faster. Ive got 2 BMX's and 3 mountain bikes
Can you go on bike jumps with any bike and can you have any bike to do the bunnyhop?
Hey. I was just wondering because there's these huge dirt bike jumps at the trails near me and my friend, who has just this random bike. It's not a mountain, Bmx, or any kind of stunt bike. It's just a cheep 99$ bike.
Should she be going on the bike jumps with this bike? I don't have a problem with since I've been there and came out fine with my bmx/stunt bike.
Also, I was just wondering out of curiosity, do you have to have a bmx, stunt or mountatin bike to learn the bunnyhope, or can you learn it with any bike. If so, is it any harder or easier than with the other pro bikes?
Thanks a ton for your time to answer my questions. My friend and I really appreciate it and thank you for your time.
10 points for the least confusing answer and most information!
xoxo.
I forgot to add something. Is it okay for her to go the skate park with that cheep bike here as well? Wouldn't it be allowwed, since the ramps arn't as big as the huge jumps?
xoxoxoxoxo. Thanks!
Wow this is a confusing question... Okay, to start I would highly recommend that your friend does not go off any sort of jump on a $99 bike (unless it was a well used dirt jumper or BMX), but if it is just a cheap bike then it will not be made handle any sort of freeriding and its geometry will likely not be good to learn on.
As for bunny hopping, it is always easier to learn on a bike that is designed for it. A BMX, dirt jumping mountain bike, or a slopestyle bike would be the easiest, and you will learn properly on one of these, but with that said, it's not impossible to learn on other bikes, just harder.
And finally the skatepark. Like I said before, the $99 bike probably won't hold up to any sort freeriding, so unless you just want to ride some banks at the park, there's a good chance that the bike won't survive.
