My counter strike source screen wont go full screen anymore?
So i just updated to windows 7, and i tried playing counter strike source, fps game.
But now it isnt exactly full screen anymore.
i went to the options and everything, its on "full screen"
the window does take up my whole screen, but its like centered.
i dont know how to fully explain it.
anyone know why? theres like a 2 inch black border on the left and right side part of the screen.
oh one more thing, before i updated it was fine, it was full screen.
So it takes up the whole screen vertically but not horizontally?
Sounds like you need to change the resolution. You probably have a widescreen monitor and the game is running 4:3

How to copy the full counter strike data to usb(not the shortcut)?
i want to copy the counter strike game to my usb to play it onto another pc.but when i click on the game icon only the shortcut is copied in the flash derive(or the usb).pls show me how to copy the full game on my flash drive.thanks!
from the shortcut right click it and choose"open file location"this will send you to the folder containing the game.copy the whole folder and paste it into the usb.
Try refreshing the server list, it might be what you're doing wrong.
Also, I've just bought the game recently, the game's old but still thriving, there's always loads of people playing and trust me the gameplay is worth it.
Worst case scenario; if you bought the version with DoD and HL2: Deathmatch, it comes with an official CS bot, which is great and if you set it to expert plays as well as any CS player. Just click Create Server then add a few bots.
