Trek Mountain Bikes - Riding a Tour

You can also purchase helmets and other safety equipment, lights, locks, saddles, racks, packs, trainers, bike maintenance gear, trailers, team wear, Trek souvenirs, and even computers for your bike! Trek even has their own specially designed water bottles, and they sell nutrition bars and packs as well!
Now that you know that Trek is all about bikes and mountain bikes - and fulfilling the needs and whims of bikers and mountain bikers, visit the site, and start building your Trek mountain bike. That's right! You can build your very own virtual Trek Bike. You can start with just the frame, or select a complete bike. You can choose the color scheme, and many other features as well - when you have virtually designed the bike of your dreams, you can order it if you want to! If you can't afford it just yet, however, you can save it, and go back and look at it over and over again.
Once you've purchased your Trek mountain bike, you may be interested in a Trek mountain bike tour. Trek also caters to mountain bikers with Trek Travel. Trek Travel puts together mountain biking tours. With a moderate trip, you will ride 30 - 45 miles per day. There will be occasional challenges and climbs, and again, riding is optional. Avid tours cover 45 to 70 or more miles per day and are extremely challenging. Danilo,Hope they are paying you to sell the V7, you have me sold!I had a real bad dirt riding crash and have to give that up, and want a smaller light comfortable street bike for back roads.Power is not an issue.I was riding a 1969 Triumph Daytona for 5 years, street and dirt, put about 45,000 miles on it, a lot of maintanance as I beat the crap out of it big time. Great fun bike but it had issues at the end, and was a bit of a handfull keeping it trouble free for that many miles. Still, only towed home once with oil pump problems, not bad.I got a 1200 Sportster (heavy, uncomfortable) and a dr650 dual sport (great bike), but the crash on the dr has me wanting something light and comfortable to ride.Since I love old bikes (had lots of old Triumphs) the V7 classic turns me on. I had a new Bonneville and did not like it over much.(also heavy)Two issues with the V7, the dealer is about 50 miles away, great for a ride there to get stuff, not great if the bike is broke and I need a part.I know your bike has been good, but some people have had problems, bad transmissions at low miles, oil leaks, shaft drive leaks, fuel injection problems…Living so far from the dealers and having a lot of problems would not be nice….Do you have a feel for how other V7 owners are finding the reliability?Minor problems are no big deal (after the old Triumph), but major stuff would suck.Thanks for posting all the good info here!Brett
I think the Coopers have the Steeres beat for this type of thing. My earliest memories are riding with my grandma on her motorcycle through trails in the woods. Not on a DIRT bike…on her street bike. No helmets, usually with at least a cousin or three on the bike with us. She died when I turned four so she had to have started us when we were really young! And having kids certainly didn't slow down my parent's climbing and whatnot – they just hauled us with them
