Stem Pad
Where can I get quad qmd-6 brake pads from?
I have a diamond back mountain bike and they brake system is QUAD- QMD-6. I have lost one of them and need to buy another set.
I cannot find them anywhere in town, I find similar ones but the stem is too long and the pad is a few millimetres too thick!! This is getting annoying as there seems to be lots of other brake pads but not for this. Its not like diamond back is an unknown make using poor 3rd party manufacturers?
Googling has nt helped but if anyone can provide a solid link I would be gratefull.

one could purchase larger pads and cut them to size i did so to avoid high cost such as Audi or Mercedes brake pads.
avoid organic pads but go for semi metalic.

Can you EAT Lilly Pad Leaf Stems ??
When we visited Cambodia, we saw an old lady up to her shoulders in a Lilly pond collecting leaf stems. She cut many of them and left with quit a pile. Why? I am assuming she took them home to cook and eat. I did not know this was possible. What do they taste like? How do you cook them? Are they dangerous? Thanks.
How lucky you are to visit Cambodia, I would love to go there!
You can cook & eat them. The younger stems are better and not as fibrous as older stems. The closest they can be compared to is maybe celery. They are neutral in taste but have a great texture and work well with many other flavors. She was probably adding them to a stir fry or noodle dish, they even work well raw in salads.
