My one month old little girl will only sleep in an inclined position and therefore is spending a lot of time in a swing or bouncy seat. I was wondering if any of you have used a crib wedge and what you think of them. Are there some that are better than others?
The ones I have seen that seem good are the kind that youput under the crib sheet so it stays put and the baby can't get caught under it.
I used one for my son when he was very little and caught a cold. It is better than sitting in a swing or bouncer because in those the back is not supported and is allowed to curve, which is not good for posture in the long-run. If you get a wedge you migh try one like I had which had smaller velcro wedges that you could use to keep baby on her side or from rolling down to the end of the wedge and ending up in an awkward position. I am sorry I do not remember the name of the brand, but if you check Toys R Us, or Babies R Us, they usually have an extensive infant selection. There are also many different 'Baby Warehouses; or Baby Outlets that would stock a decent selection.
Whichever store you go to, just be sure to get ones that is washable or has a washable cover. One thing about babies, 'neat & clean' is not something that comes natural to them.

How Car Seat Cushions Can Increase Your Car Experience
Car seats are actually relatively uncomfortable to sit on. Most manufacturers take priority over durability than comfort when making car seats. This comfort problem can be overcome by a simple car seat cushions - ergonomic cushions designed specially to fit car seats. Their main function is to reduce stress caused by prolonged sitting. This cushion also enables passengers and drivers to sit very comfortably.
There are a lot of designs for car seat cushions. The most basic examples are those which are just put on top of seats and support the entire the back and butt. Many are contoured to provide additional support. The common material used for this kind of cushion is leather stuffed with foam, which is resistant to scratching. Other pads of this type include ones that have beads or small massagers for extra comfort.
There area also seat cushions which are smaller and support only the back, the butt, or the lumbar area. These are designed for correcting posture or for simply making sitting easier. They absorb the pressure on the back and the butt. Some car seat cushions of this kind are sculpted to perfectly fit the butt. There are also cushions that are shaped like wedges for lifting the driver eyes higher above the steering wheel. These wedge seats are perfect for old cars which have seats that are settled in.
These cushions are made with special foam and designed with a special contour to adjust to a person's back to give comfort, specially for those extra long trips. Seat installation is made easy by side straps, which secure the cushion onto the seat. It can easily fit with all types of car seats. A portion of these pillows features thermo-sensitive which release heat and vibrating massagers for instant relief for your back pain.
Modern designs of car seat cushions include inflatable ones which fits and molds themselves to the driver's movements. These cushions can act as massages and help with promoting proper blood circulation, which is hampered by sitting for long periods of time. These seats support the back, lumbar area, butt and even the legs so they are undoubtedly very comfortable to sit on.
Car seat cushions are usually colored to fit the interior of the car. There are also leather cushions available if you are going for the elegant look and there are also synthetic ones which can have different patterns. There are many designs when it comes to colors and prints so finding the right one for specific cars won't be a problem.

@leila The coin on the seat was an old tradition I heard about years ago. It's so simple and it's better than watching arm wrestling matches at every table. Actually, that would be quite amusing lol
hi, I'm not sure where to purchase those bowls. I would look at Michael's Crafts, Wal-mart, or any other large craft store in your area. They are great. Good luck!
Saw 2nd-half of Bolton vs Villa and I must say our Jack is becoming quite a feisty fellow. Was involved in a scrap at the end with some Villans after Downing spitefully tripped Weiss, another loanee (remember him – he scored against us for Man City last year). Beyond that he was quite a threat on the left. Speed, trickery and good passing range. Pity he didn't have some more decent footballers around him.
If they were better quality, Bolton could have again shown up long-ball O'Neil. IMO, he is simply another pretender who yearns to get the gold plated seat at Old Trafford when ole Red Nose calls it a day.
