i need a little bike help?
too keep this short my seat can't fit in the seat tube anymore because i clamped it too tight to put another seat in but here's the story...
ok i just got a trek 7000 and it is the best bike i have ever ridden. i like the seat its gel but it hurts my butt a little. i have another seat though that is completely comfortable. so i took the seat off my trek and the one off the old bike and the old one on my trek. the seat post on the old one is thinner so i had to tighten the seatclamp and it bent the seat top of the seat tube. the old seat couldn't even fit in and stay it would just slide. so i tried to put the original seat back on my trek but the top of the seat tube was too tight so now i can't put the original seat back on. oh ya another thing is i was going to use fire so i could spread the top o ut a little bit. good idea yes no
Switch just the saddles (seats) from one seatpost to the other. Seatposts aren't universal. Don't use heat, flames or fire. Get it to a bike shop now. Hopefully, it's not ruined. Lesson learned?
