BMX Bottom Bracket Question? HELP PLEASE?
Okay, i just got a nice frame from my friend and i tore it apart.(crank system) It has standard berings, but a 3-piece crank, and i was wondering if i could buy American Sealed bottom Brackets for this frame. The frame is American sized bottom brackets. Hers the point; can i put sealed american bottom brackets in the frame that originally had standard beraings??
Yes......you just remove the bottom bracket you have now and install one with sealed bearings. They have them for square taper or splined to match your cranks. Check out Dan's Comp or Nat'l BMX...they should carry a couple different ones. Make sure you buy one with the correct bearing inner diameter to match the spindle on your cranks if you have splined. If you have square taper you don't need to worry about that.
If you need help removing and pressing in the cups/bearings, check out the "repair help" section at http://www.parktool.com . Dan's used to have a decent photo instruction on it, too, but it's been a long time since I looked at their site.

Christchurch to Dunedin
Dunedin "the Edinburgh of the South" the second largest city in the South Island of New Zealand can be another destination of your motorhome. Select from over 20 campgrounds and or caravan parks for your Motorhome in Dunedin. One of your option can be Leith Valley Touring Park on 103 Malvern Street. Probably the closest place for your motorhome from the university, hospital, botanical gardens and less than 3km to Dunedin's commercial centre.
