"Crazy" Ronnie Anderson - Reno

  • Yes, Brad played the Sax. I sure of that. Pat Shew did as well as I recall. One played the alto sax, I think that was Brad. Doug played guitar, it may have been a bass guitar. Ronnie Anderson played the guitar as well. Buzz was on the drums. Frank Silva joined the band after a bit as I remember it; he also played the guitar…I think. Have you noticed that as my progressively aging brain tries to recal thinks I have a lot of disclaimers attached to what I say…well thats what I remember anyway.

  • Hi Margaret. I’m not sure what Terry thinks I’m doing here, but the only large size “lots” we are checking out are also called golf courses. We don’t plan to buy one, but to play on them. I have two older sisters (they love it when their “little” brother reminds them and everybody else they are older) who both live in Florida and Kathy and I try to visit them a couple of times each year. This is supposed to be the best time to be in Florida for good weather but this trip has been unusually cold by Florida standards and we really didn’t bring the right clothes to be out and about for very long. We are in Orlando until next Friday when we return to Redding, CA.The one fact about the Legends I may be wrong about is Ronnie Anderson. While I’m certain he was in the band at one time, it is quite possible the my certainty is a only as good as my memory and at times…well I think you understand what I mean. Your husband may be right about having to make room since there is so much in our brains already…but I would add that over time our brains may “downsize” all on their own and in the process the have a hugh “information and data” garage sale. So we end up with less space for new info and disappeared space that contained some of the older stuff…much of it good.
