Rims Suzue

Should i get a track Flip flop hub over a single sided hub?
im having a guy build a wheel for me. H+Son Rim/Suzue Hub laced with alloy spokes.
does getting a single sided hub lighten the weight of the whole wheel drastically opposed to getting a flip flop? the whole reason is because i dont want heavy wheels and i hear the H+ Sons (hplusson or h plus son) are heavy so id like to go as light as possible when having them built. i love the look of this rim so thats why im going for this specific one.
-i will be riding on the streets on fixed gear
A flip flop hub will only add a few ounces, but it will add a lot in terms of versatility. That tiny bit of extra weight will be completely unnoticeable, but it will mean that you will have the option of a freewheel single speed with the turn of a wrench and the flipping of the wheel. The ability to take a more leisurely pace may not appeal to you often, but when it does, you will have the option. Also, if you were to ever decide to sell the bike, having a flip flop hub will be an extra selling point.
Good luck!
