In addition, defensive driving aside, a lot of people (who will shoulder check for another vehicle) don't bother to check for bike riders.

Initially, BMX bike construction was aimed at making a bike witch would be as resistant as possible. However, weight became a serious issue when racing gained popularity. Out of all BMX constructors, R&R Racing created the first 3 pound frame witch not only was lighter but it also was very resistant. Soon, BMX manufacturers would start to use lighter materials such as aluminum and chromium molybdenum for frames; additionally, rims made out of steel and mag wheels where replaced by rims made of aluminum with freewheels and caliper brakes.

The cost of the bicycle plays a very important role when it comes to purchasing a good mountain bicycle. Basically, the price of the bike depends on the material used for its construction. The most expensive bikes are the once with Titanium and carbon fiber frames, once made of steel are relatively cheaper.
Tip #8
A cannondale 600 bicycle is built for comfort, as it is often wide, heavy, and may have a basket. It is a "traditional" bicycle in that many people have a picture of this in their mind when they think of a bike. It is meant for general recreation, errand running, etc.
