what is the main cause of slow leaks?
i have a mountain bike (sun rhyno lite rims, if that matters) that i recently got a pinch flat on. since then, i have tried 3 different tubes, and they all are flat the next day. i have checked the tire, the rim, and the rim strip for any cutting edges. none. what could cause it to have a slow leak?
i do seat the bead, my rim isnt bend inwards, all these tubes are ones i constantly use without problem, it leaks before i get out to ride, and the bike shop is closed for the next week.
The replacement of the tube inside should have fixed any slow leak you had. There must be something that is puncturing the tire or pinching it. There is something that is put on the edge of the tire to not seal. There is a goop that the put on before they put the inner-tube in the tire . You could take it to a dealer or have dealer put on tube and see if that makes a difference.
