Race Wheelset What's the best hand-built-in-the-USA wheelset?
I am going to buy a 2009 trek madone 4.7 and am going to buy a better wheelset to go with the bike since the "Bontrager Race" really aren't that great for real racing. They'd make great training wheels. Mavic caught my eye? Don't let the budget hold you back for me, just give me a great hand built. . . you know. . . wheelset. Preference? Experience? Sites?
+1 on the Zipp suggestions... They've always been top notch and... Since they're now owned by SRAM, I expect even more good stuff from them.

Thru-axles aren't just for downhillers anymore. With the advent of the 15mm thru-axle, a dedicated 15mm system is light enough to not scare off all the weight weenies. Gram counting aside, the greatest benefit is the huge amount of added stiffness over a standard quick release...

what is the best hub to put on a cannondale lefty?
i'm up grading my rush's wheelset, initially I was going to put some mavic crossmax slr's on it, but after reading reviews and know the wait time to get a pair (if at all) I have decided to build my own wheel sets. i am going either with some dt swiss xr series rims or some notubes, but the question I have is what options do I have for a high performance/race front hub?
You have very few options.
The factory Cannondale hubs could be rebuilt with different spokes and rim. Shimano now offers an XTR wheel in a lefty version. Of course there are the Mavic Crossmax wheels you mentioned that don't lend themselves to a custom build and I've seen a lefty front wheel offered by Spinergy like these: http://cgi.ebay.com/SPINERGY-Xyclone-Disc-Bike-Wheelset-Lefty-red_W0QQitemZ380099432494QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCycling_Parts_Accessories?hash=item380099432494&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116
I've had stock, Mavic SL and the XTR wheels. Stock wheels are heavy, the SLRs are nice but the XTRs I have on my Scalpel are quite impressive but in all fairness, I am on the mid to light weight side and I ride XC. No big hits or drops.
Want SLRs soon? Mind used? http://cgi.ebay.com/Mavic-CrossMax-SLR-for-Lefty-2008-Great-Condition_W0QQitemZ320357008160QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCycling_Parts_Accessories?hash=item320357008160&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
I hate to look like an ebay junkie but there's a little of everything there right now. There's a set of Stan's wheels and even a set of Reynolds with carbon rims.
The answer to the first question is none of the above.
A discouraged worker is an unemployed person who has become discouraged in their job search and stopped looking, therefore removing them self from the work force.
Choices B,C, and D are all the same, simply reworded. The statement is not true. One does not have to file for unemployment benefits to be considered unemployed. Employment rates are actually calculated via telephone survey, not by information collected from employment security commissions.
The answer to the second is B, hands down, no question asked.
It is the only provided example of MACROECONOMIC INVESTMENT.
