What is/was your favorite or most appreciated BABY gift, product or item?
Or what would you suggest as a really neat thing to give or receive for a new baby rather than a stuffed diaper bag full of goodies or gift basket or gift card? I'm looking for answers of individual items such as: bottle cozies, washable car seat covers, hand crafted baby quilts, etc...
Thanks for your input! I'm way past the baby stage but have several showers to attend this summer and fall!
BTW, I've been a mom going on 27 years now! No grandchildren yet...

It was a gift certificate to Burke Williams Day Spa. Ever since I got this, I give it to everyone of my friends. It's something that I looked soooo forward to. You go 9 months and some change that you can't use certain medicines, certain shampoos, detergents, hair dying, etc. I felt like I was a big mess when my baby arrived. After a month or so I used my spa certificate. It was something I was so grateful for. I give it all the time now. When people see the gift bag, they know its from me and tuck it away immediately.
The best gift for a baby is a happy mommy too

Hermes collaborated with Dutch bicycle manufacturer Batavus and adorned an Old Dutch with meticulously stitched leather accents on saddle, handle bar grips, as well as the frame’s two main down tubes. The 3-speed bicycle maintains its old original black finish. The calfskin leather used in this bicycle is the high point. Personally, I would prefer function over luxury when purchasing a $3,500 bike. However, it would be a net alternative for the lucky guys with the sufficient financial resources.
Chanel Bicycle
In Chanel’s spring/summer 2008 fashion collection, Chanel came up with its newest covetable accessory: an ergonomically designed, eight-speed bicycle to celebrate the heritage of the house and Coco Chanel’s love of cycling which documented in the book L'Allure de Chanel: "I dominated fashion for a quarter of a century. Why? Because I knew how to express the times. I invented sport suits for me. Not because other women were playing sports, but because I was playing them. I'd like to make a biscuit quilt that would serve as a cushion (seat and back) for a wooden rocking chair. So, one small quilt for the seat and one for the back. Do you think that would be enough padding for a chair? I have not ever made a biscuit quilt before. Thank you….Mary
