Why wear a gold pyramid-shaped frame on one's head?
There's a man I've seen a few times around London's Oxford Street who wears a gold pyramid on his head. He wears a suit and carries a briefcase and the only thing out of the ordinary is the frame on his head. Any ideas why he wears it? To stop aliens reading his thoughts? Anyone seem the same guy or someone with the same thing on their head?
It is an act of atonement.

There are too many words. Too much description and too many complete sentences. It's halfway between a story and a poem, which makes it not as good as if you went fully into one or the other. Cut out anything that's unnecessary and please repost it. I want to see what the edited version is like.
