Epson PowerLite Pro Cinema 800
Sanyo PLV-Z5
I was looking at a few others, However I want the lens shift.
Any advice ????

Hi,david it is a hard choice i agree and that is why it is hard to recommend a particular projector to someone.There are so many things to consider you need a good memory when looking for one .Ok so you have moved on from the last time i communicated with you.The three you have in mind look to be very good and have about the same features.
Looking at discount prices (this is only an example, you may get one a lot cheaper) Hitachi HDP J52 about $850 Epson Powerlite Pro-Cinema about $1,600. Sanyo PLV-Z5 about $1,067

How far away should I mount my projector?
I want to hang it as close as possible so i can increase the brightness and fill the whole screen (screen is grey 1.1 gain and 133" diag). I have ambient light that i cannot control and the projector has vertical shifting without keystoning the image.

I have a Panasonic projector and it is projecting to a 106" screen from 10 feet away. Did you buy your projector already? How big is the room that you are installing a 133" screen? Sitting to close to a big screen like the one mentioned you will miss out some of the details. Big is not always good. Before buying a projector (and other product like tv and speakers) I read alot of reviews from Home Theater Magazine to help me decide. Hope this helps out.
