Need help with a few suggestions for songs.?
My friends and i have formed a band. Most of us listen to metal and those who don't are fine with playing it. Our 2 lead guitarist are amazing they have been playing for about 3-4 years. I am the rhythm guitarist and have been playing for just over a year. Our drummer is the best in our school. Our bass player is a beginner that we had to make play for us cause we really needed a bass play at the time. So can anyone suggest a few Metal songs with an easy Bass part. Also im not great with chords. Im fine with Bar and Power Chords.
Some of our favourite bands are:
Metallica
Megadeth
Iron Maiden
Carcass
Slayer
Arch Enemy
Ozzy Osbourne
Black Sabbath
Bullet for my Valentine
Guns n Roses
Pantera
Tool
Dude must admit i like the flexible joke.
Crazy Train is one of the songs that we will be playing. One gets really hard. Cause of the problem with our bass player we decided to leave Iron Maiden because of Steve harris' awesomeness it would be quite hard, but thanx
Crazy Train by Ozzy is pretty good. It is a little challenging but it sounds good when you get it down.
One by Metallica has an easy beginning but the end is crazy. You could just do a simple version of the solo and the bass part is not too hard.
Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden is a pretty cool song. Not too hard but its a solid song for a starting band.
