Padded Seat
Do you wash a stroller and car seat pad before baby use it?
We just assemble our baby travel system and i wanna ask you guys experience if you wash it or not. If yes, which way is best : washing machine or by hands? Or you just use the wipe/washcloth to clean it?

Well, you should first read the Care Instructions. I was totally pro wash everything for my baby with Seventh Generation hypoallergenic detergent for babies until I read the DO NOT MACHINE WASH tag on my stroller travel system. I say go by the Care Instruction. If machine wash is not recommended then I say make a water and vinegar mix and wipe the fabric down. Vinegar is a very, very effective yet harmless cleaner.

Seat Boxes - Why You Need One!
A long time ago when you were a lad, chances are you didn't mind perching on the bank of a muddy canal and keeping your fishing gear stuffed in a plastic carrier bag. You probably didn't even stay still long enough to want to sit down. But then your mother stopped doing your washing when you got back from a muddy fishing trip, and with all that pocket money coming in every week you accumulated lots and lots of tackle. Pretty soon you realized that in order to get your tackle to the water, and then keep it organized, and keep your clothes clean, you needed a new piece of kit. At that moment of revelation, you went out and got yourself a seat box.
Nowadays seat boxes are so over-the-top they can cost more than 450 quid. Match fishermen who make money fishing can justify that though (although they probably get them free from sponsors!), based on the multi-functionality of one of these beasts. They have the obvious things like adjustable legs for sloped and muddy banks, and nice padded seats. But then they also have all sorts of draws and slots and trays for your tackle, footplates to rest your feet on, pole seats to rest your pole in, and even cubbies to put your beer and crisps. If you are a fully grown fisherman you need somewhere for your beer and crisps.
Many are so heavy they have wheel attachments so that they convert into barrows or trolleys to push them along. Some even come with a wee boy to push the thing along for you, sort of like a fishing caddy (OK getting a bit carried away here).
So anyway, do you need one? And what do you want from it? The serious match fisherman needs to consider what sides, depths and clips each draw has, and how many they need. Time is precious, and minimizing bait-on-the-bank time is crucial. For the average pleasure angler, it depends on how much kit you want to cart around. If you're like me, I can't be bothered to sort it all out each time, so I want to take it ALL with me EVERY time. So I have a huge seatbox, and a son to push it for me. If you're more organized than me, chances are you'll get away with a simpler 2 or three draw seat box. One thing I suggest you don't compromise on though - get a footrest. You don't know how good it feels until you've tried it. And just imagine not even having to move your legs to get your beer and crisps. Fantastic!

My first grandson has this chair and now it is being used by his baby sister. It really is excellent quality and looks great in my daughter's modern decor. It cleans up easily and looks so much nicer than the usually plastic high chairs. The padded seat cushions can be thrown in the washer, too.
“Bubba” recently knocked it over when “Sissy” was in it. He is strong for a 2 1/2 year old! (“Sissy” was not hurt – just a slight black eye…)
I would say it is VERY stable except in the presence of pint-sized green-eyed monsters.
Dementia and Death by over work are self inflicted injuries.
This can be avoided by placing things in PERSPECTIVE.
The rules for survival are as follows:
What is important today doesn't mean squat tomorrow.
They can kill you but they cannot eat you.
Avoid reading memo's, they will take up brain space, which may result in you not remembering that prom night scene in the back seat of the old chevy with whats her face.
The only power people have over you is the power you give them,so when they make you mad it's your fault for taking them more seriously than they deserve.
The job you have is there to serve your purposes, you are not there to serve it's needs.
Remember even the most powerful person in the world still wipes his own butt. there is no magic to these people when you picture them on the crapper.
Making money is good, spending it is even better.
The economy is not slowing down it is picking up speed in a new direction.
Keep these thoughts in mind during your stressful days and you will survive to fight on another day.

Hi Lynn!! That’s a good point. It really depends on your situation in my experience, and it especially depends on the type of climate you live in. Southern California is so temperate and dry that they have much less issue with this type of thing…and also why you’ll see so many outdoor living rooms there. The garden is really an extension of the house in that part of the country. However, I live in the Philadelphia area and have a large covered porch. My wicker furniture has padded seat cushions and pillows, and it’s been fine to leave out during the summer months where the heat is going to immediately dry any type of dampness that might occur from a quick shower. Note though that it’s covered and not actually getting wet. During the fall and winter months, I have to pull all those cushions indoors b/c it’s raining much more and there isn’t the heat to dry them off. The same would go for bedding on a sleeping porch. The nice thing about that is, you can easily pull bedding & sheets off a bed and wash them. So as long as nothing is getting [and staying] damp, then it shouldn’t be a big concern.
