Does anyone know how much a signed comic book is worth?
My husband and I are getting an apartment in a few months and he wants to sell his comic book collection to bring in some money and free up some space. As I was going through the collection to organize it, I came across 3 Bloodshot( Nos. 1, 9, and 10 ) comic books signed by Don Perlin and a certificate of authentication about the signatures. I also have a comic book called Zen Intergalactic Ninja that is signed by Don Y. Chin and is enclosed is his business card. Also enclosed with Bloodshot No. 9 is a card that has Don Perlin's signature. I was wondering if anyone knew the value of the comic books with their respective signatures? All the comic books are in mint condition, never been opened or used and are in protective cases. Thank you ahead of time.
Honestly, and I know you really don't want to hear this, but they are not worth that much ($5-$30). The reason is, the author is not a big name and since they are comics that came out between 1980 and present, they were mass produced to such an extreme, that no one wants them. Even in Mint condition (which they probably are not in), these issues do not go for much.
The signature is nice, but it just gives him (your husband) something to remember meeting the writer by.
