you think it was a good idea? i personally think by choosing to end the life of isis, the band have done a good job. they have just about ticked the first box on becoming legends. instead of releasing new mediocre albums like many old bands are doing (fu manchu, melvins, cynic), there discography glitters with many awesome albums. with some minor expections.

cynics re-traced ep was quite dissapoitning to me, i expected it to be heavier, yet its more focused on vocals than the instruments i guess.
In mouring today! I prefer bands to disband before they destroy themselves (Smashing Pumpkins anyone?). I disagree with you saying Cynic released "mediocre" material though.

While The Action Is Go doesn't quite equal the high-water mark the band set on its previous outing, it mines the same Sabbath/'70s hard-rock vein with slightly different results...
