Lite Rim
I have the odyssey hazard lite back rim in black and i dont want my brakes to wear down the paint any tips?
Also any reasons why it happens or ways to prevent it
your rim is most likely anodized, so the paint won't rub, as there is no paint. but to prevent wear, purchase a better quality brake pad, like a Kool Stop, and check for wear regularly, as the metal poles in the brakes can scratch the rims. Also, clear brake pads don't wear the rim as much.
Another solution is to go brake less!!

The powermat chargers are the best for all your choices and one would have to say that this is the best replacement that one can get.
