A sphere ( I=2/5Mr^2) and a hoop (I=Mr^2) of the same radius r= 0.25 m are rolled a distance d=12m down a ramp that makes an angle of 25 degrees with the floor
what will the speed of the center of mass be for each the sphere and the hoop at the bottom of the ramp?
Well Kenneth, first you have to find the VERTICAL distance dropped by both objects, which involves the sine of the angle.
This gives you the GPE lost by each (= mgh)
This is turned into Ke, which is 1/2 m v squared PLUS 1/2 I omega squared. And v is r * omega. Put those together and you should get your answer.

i need to become a better center??
i play basketball 4 my girls high school team.. but we dont hve many girls that r coming out 4 basketball.. im only 5"4 and im playing center and 4.. how can i get better under the hoop and w/ jumping higher.. wat r some drills that i can work on 4 me a become a better downlow player?? but i am very good at boxing out and moving bigger girls out of my way..
Work on your back to the basket low post game. Practice turn around jump shots. Learn how to establish position in the post and practice catching post passes. The best way to become a better center? Play it. Drills are great, but you learn a ton more through action. So when you are playing, play with your back to the basket, learn drop steps, spin moves, turn arounds.
I also started out as a short high school center-I was only about 5'11 when I began playing it. I eventually grew to 6'3", but I learned when I was smaller the basics of post play, and in time was able to become quite effective.
You need to get some counseling. I think you still have a lot of anger towards your mother, I'm not saying you don't have a right to be angry, but you need to find a way to close that chapter, and maybe that will help you in your efforts to be a good mom.
As for your kids, you need to enjoy them. If you compliment your daughter in one room, don't feel you need to run out and find your son to give him a hug. Just enjoy the moment with your daughter.
But I think this is something that counseling would help you with as well. You seem very aware, you just need to find some methods to correcting your behavior.
