BMX Gyro help! weird clanking sound after I removed my Gyro!?
Alright, so today I removed my Gyro system on my Haro (just back brakes) and everything is dandy and all EXCEPT now my fork sort of flops around inside my frame, I think I screwed up my headset some how. It makes a ringingclanking sound every time I bunny hop or something...
how can this be fixed? is this a hazard? PLEASE AND THANKS 
Well, you shouldn't have done that, and everything isn't dandy.
The fork steerer was sized at the factory for the added length needed to install the gyro. Now that it is gone the steerer is too long and won't allow correct adjustment.
BEFORE YOU RIDE THE BIKE AGAIN you need to purchase and add the appropriate spacers to the steerer or cut the steerer down and reset the star fangled nut inside. Continuing to ride the bike as-is will (and might already have) damage the headset and in worst case scenario will cause the fork steerer to bend and the head tube to crack. I've seen all of these happen.

bmx fork question...broken?
hey i just bought a haro gorup 1 frame for my bmx bike. it came with fork and stem.
the stem is unlike others that i have seen and has a long hollow pole that goes into fork and attaches deep into the fork with a bolt. when i was attaching the fork and stem i pulled a bit and the part where the bolt goes into the fork popped out... what the hell do i do? thanks

hmm haro is alright but i would recommend Kink bmx or Fit bike co. they have great bikes that are very reliable. alot of people love them
