Did they make the 2008 haro shift r1 mountain bike in a 21" frame?
I purchased a haro shift r1 in a 20" frame. When I bought the bike I was told that it was the biggest frame they made for the bike, then I went online and saw they offered it in a 21". When i confronted they guy at the store who sold me the bike he said a month or two ago they started offering the bike in 2 new colors and the 21" option. Is this guy full of shit and just wanted a quick sale? or is he telling me the truth?
The R1 has always been available in 14, 16, 18, 20, and 21" frames. It is the same frame as the R2 and R3. This is a common size spread for Haro.
Now, to suggest an explanation... the dealer you went to may not have been able to get a 21" framed bike due to supply which could be why he said they weren't available. The 2009 versions are the models that have the different colors.

Which bike is better, GT Performer or a Haro F3?
I have seen both bikes for sale used at craigslist and I want to buy one for my son in law but he and I don't know which one to get. Both bikes seem to be in great condition although i don't know what year model they are and they are both being sold for $100.00
