Is FELT a good bmx bike company?
I am a 14 year old and am lk 5"11 and is on the heavy side and would like to know if FELT would be good for me. I was thinking of this bike> http://www.feltbmx.com/USA/DIRT-/DIRT-STREET-SERIES/VAULT.aspx
Please give me your opinion and answer my q on that bike in the link.
Or should i spend more and get the CHASM
Felt is a pretty decent bike company. Its not the very best but far from being the worst. I think you should spend more and get the Felt Chasm because its lighter, stronger and will last longer.

i have been told that the sprocket size is too big but can you people explain to me why sprockets need to be smaller? could you also give your opinion on if its a bike worth getting? the link is above for pic its called a GT SLAMMER 2010 and it is £209.99

That's a very good BMX bike. My cousin had the same bike and he had no problems with it. Sprocket size matters because the bigger the sprocket, the harder it takes to peddle the bike to a fast speed. The smaller the sprocket, you can just peddle two times and you will be going more than 5 mph. The price is pretty good (i think cause i'm american) for a BMX like that. So go for it cause that's an awesome deal! Hope i helped.
