Great Shape I need to know the value of an Alhambra glass 5g btle. It has a pelican on the bottom. In great shape.?
I have two of these 5 gallon glass bottles. My dad worked for Alhambra and got them when Alhambra was destroying them to change to plastic. They are in great shape. Both of these bottles have a pelican on the bottom. From what I am told, the pelican is rare.
You might want to look in your yellow pages to find an authorized appraiser so if they are valuable, you can get them insured.

When gas was $147 per barrel this past summer, did that mean that our economy was in great shape then?
Oil is going down now because of the slowing world economy. So does that mean that our economy was great when oil was $147 per barrel?
You'd think that the opposite would be true for high gas prices, that the economy would be doing great, but our economy was NOT that great over this past summer.
The two are not that directly connected. And, yes, the economy was better six months ago. World GDP production is lower now than then.

I also remember when One Way reissued the old catalog as well, and just like you, I passed them up at less than ten bucks each. Oh well, my vinyl is still in great shape in the meantime. It does suck that the major labels pass on such great recordings for reissue in favour of such forgettable ones.
I would not expect too much for incomplete sets,as full-up
monopoly games from the 50s e.g. rarely make $15 bucks on ebay.
The Game Collection seems most promising – maybe 50-70 bucks,
acceptable condition presumed. Chinker Chek and Thorobred each
about half of that, after all. Thimk a bit more again, if you're lucky. ~*~
