Gray White What is the difference between gray and white hair?
I been doing research on hair and as you age it becomes grayer. I don't understand the difference between gray hair and white hair? Are they the same or does darker hair color get one and light colored hair people get another? Help!

What color shutters would you use on a light, light gray (looks white unless you get super close) house?
I'm talking so light gray it looks white compared to the white garage next to it. The house has blue shutters on it now and I HATE blue. I don't want to do dark green because I'm worried it won't look that good. I'm almost thinking of going with a plum color because I love the color and I think it would look nice against the siding. I'm also thinking of burgundy.
What would be your pick and why?
I own a home remodeling company, and I am a decorator also who invests in properties and turns them back out on the market.
When I have done homes that are light grey in color, I have used black shutters b/c it is more timeless and elegant allowing for great curb appeal and greater resale value. .With black shutters you can opt for a red/burgundy door for more striking appearance or stick to a black door.
The other color I have used is a wine/burgundy color which lends itself beautifully for a more stark contrast against the light grey, and have tied the burgundy shutter back into the house with burgundy, wine, cranberry toned plant life, surrounding the front of the house.
I love the color plum personally, but for resale value and greater curb appeal I would stay away from it. Instead pick up the plum color through your plant life to enjoy it. Plum colored plantings will work with either the above mentioned colors, while still allowing you to enjoy some of your favorite color without the permanency of placing it on a front door or shutters.
My 2nd and last deployment to Iraq will be over soon, and I gotta say, the time out here takes a toll on you. I’m 25, but I used to (before I deployed) look all of 19. I look every day of that 25 now, and I have a streak of gray/white hair starting in. I’m a fucking SUPPORT troop. I work on electronics. It’s just being stuck away from your family for so long, the constant mortar and rocketing of the bases just chips away at you. But I can’t wait to get home to my wife.
haha wat period are you in?
