Good Bmx Bike Parts

BMX BIKE: Where can i learn about them very well? Where do i look for a starting one? What's a good brand?
Ok, my name is Shane. I'm looking for a good quality bmx bike ranging from 0$ - 650$ish. Also i wanna be able to know what im doing and what are the best parts and stuff for when i do get into it. And What brand is the best? etc. idk just gimme some sweet info.
Well... if your willing to spend up to 650 on a bmx bike, and youve never done this before, you are either rich, or super dedicated. If i were you i would try out a friends, or a crap bike and start fooling around on it, and see if your really into it. You should go to danscomp.com, and look at all of the different brands of bikes, and buy one from a trustworthy company that cost a shit load of money. With bikes in bmx, you get what you pay for besides the brands of eastern, haro, and fit. There is also no best brand; people will tell you, but its just because THEY like it. Some good brands would be Subrosa, kink, we the people, and stolen. For parts, profile, oddyssey, and metal. When buying a bike, choose the correct top tube length, chanstays, and other things. Look up diagrams, and definitions of these words, they are too difficult to explain the importance on yahoo. BMX takes years of failing, and getting pissed off to get anywhere. So make sure your ready. Good luck

Good BMX bike choice?
Well im gonna get a bmx very soon and im wondering if this is a good choice for a bmx bike http://www.danscomp.com/101971.php?cat=BIKES
I am going to try and learn to bmx BUT i also want to try to learn flatland bmxing as well, so is this a good bike for that or not? and maybe you could show me some parts i might need to get if im going to do both bmx and flatlanding OR maybe send me a link to a COMPLETELY new bike i should get.
Hi-ten, ew. I would suggest, since youre into flatland, a DK Opsis. It's not too flatland specific, so you could pull off some other tricks too. Or the Eastern Ramrodder if you're going to be riding all sorts of BMX.
