Gear Track Why has the Bugatti Veyron not been tested on the Top Gear test track?
1001bhp... You'd think they would want to take that out and set a lap time!
Bugatti would not let anyone use the Veyron on any test track, other than a straight line. bugatti did this to ensure that none of there 1.8 million dollar cars got wrecked because an inexperianced (or unfortunate) driver made a very humanly mistake and met a wall doing 100 MPH. There was an article on BBC.com about it a while back. You'll notice that nobody has any track times for it (unless the owner themselves tracked it)
