Front Hub
96 chevy s10 blazer 4whl drive, front hub assembly,need torque ft/lb for spline connecting hub to steering?
I am replacing the hub bearing assembly, my spec book only gives the torque for the hub to bracket bolts, I need the ft/lb for the shaft that comes from the steering knuckle thru the hub, the main bolt,the nut is a 35 mm
Either phone or visit a GM dealer or a parts store and ask to see their manuals. The torque spec would be included in a replacement tie rod so that's where a parts store can help. I used to work in a dealership and people asked me for info all the time which I had no problem giving them. All manuals are in electronic form so it was really easy to find it.

Hope Pro II front hub bearing change
Have to replace a front wheel hub Assembly and a heater control, can it be done by owner?
I have done some work on my cars, oil change, brake pads, etc. but a wheel hub (front left) assembly and a heater control, are these items that can be done (somewhat) easily, or best left for a local repair shop (1997 Rivera)?

Yes, Both are fairly easy to replace if you have some mechanical ability.
When you say Heater control, are you referring to the Control head in the Dash?
The Labor manual says the left front Wheel hub is a .9 of an hour job and the Heater control head is a .6 of an hour job. Not very hard.
