help me decide on a price(please be serious)?
ok i have a haro F4 2003 i bought used for 100 bucks 4 mounths ago it has fmf bars and a eastern 42th sprocket im wondering how much i can sell it for
i know its a terrible bike but i dont wanna hear bout that im just lookin for how much i should sell it for
General rule of selling on anything is to ask 20 - 50% less than what you got it for.
No use trying to make money if you know it's not a great bike and 3rd hand is a lot different to 2nd hand. It also depends where you want to sell it, and how much the bike means to you (what you're willing to let it go for)
Somewhere like Ebay just put a reserve on it of for example 50 bucks with a buy it now price of 100. Alternatively place it as a 'best offer' auction. Pretty sure you can close without accepting any offer with them, or should at least be able to put a reserve on it too.
If privately selling start about 80, if they laugh drop by 20 -> 10 -> then send them on their way.
Hopefully you find a new home for your bike!
