650c wheels on my 2008 fuji track?

Hello,
I recently got a 49cm 2008 fuji track. I come from a BMX background so it feels super awkward with these huge wheels. If I wanted to put 650c wheels on my bike, what would parts would I need to change? (fork?)

Are their any downsides to running smaller wheels?

in track events you kind of have to watch what you do. there are often rules on what you can use. the 650's will definately call for an increase in gears, likely a bigger chainring. the smaller diameter of the wheels would be like using a lighter gear, and you would be at a disadvantage unless you change the gearing to compensate. also, any bike takes getting used to. i would not be so quick to make changes until you adapt to the new sport you are trying. there are reasons why things are the way they are.

Please help to make my BMX bike lighter!?

I currently own a 2007 Felt Fuse with all stock parts. I am starting to get into biking and want to know if there are some custom parts out there that will make my bike lighter. Especially the back end. It is really heavy. Can I take off my gyro? Is it worth it?

i have an old bike, and i have basically taken everything off of it, including the brakes, but it had pedal brakes. Without spending any money, i would just take off everything you don't need. If you had to, and could spend the money, you could just buy a new frame
Also, you could buy new tires
it all depends on the look your looking for, and the money your willing to spend
