Eastern Shovel Head Bmx
i street bmx,like grinding and other tricks like 360's etc.and im looking to buy a new bike EASTERN or KINK?
i was thinking about a EASTERN SHOVEL HEAD or KINK TRANSITION they are both the same prices but the shovelhead is only 26pounds which i want a lighter bike but i noticed the kink has some better peices and its 27.7 pounds..so which bike do you think id be better off with???explain please and if you had any problems with them please tell me
Buy the Kink. I've heard a lot of complaints about Easterns components online and in real life. Their cassette wheels catch a lot of negative comments for not being reliable/long lasting and seeing as rear wheels aren't cheap to replace that's not a good sign. I have a friend with a Kink complete and it's a real nice bike, I would definitely recommend it over the Eastern. Also check out FBM's new completes on a site like danscomp. they look solid.

The thermate theory runs into the same problem as far as the infeasibility of building replicas and having to rely to some extent on modeling. But if people want to go off and do their own experimenting and investigations, how can anyone oppose that?
