Eastern Bmx Freestyle What are some good BMX bike brands?
So I have a mountain bike but all of my friends have BMX bikes and I want to get one. One of my friends has a Eastern and the other a DK. I already know how to classify BMX bikes with racing and free-stlye, but I want a freestyle. Can you please tell me at least 5 and your sources. Thx!
(ok i know the username is snowboarder but i made it a long time ago and dont use it much) but i have been bmx for about 4 years now and there are more than just racing and freestyle there is racing, trail, park, vert, and street. if your looking for a street bike i would go with a verde, eastern, wtp or we the people, or a subrosa but i ride a verde vex and i love it and if your going to buy a bike most people will say you have to pay more than 400 dollars for one but that is a lie i would get anything less than 250$ thats when its more on the crappy side but you dont have to spend more money for a good bike ik some bike that are 600-700 bucks that are pieces of shit. if your going park or vert riding i would recommend well some of the one i name above have them but they are almost the same bike but usually vert and park bikes have gyros and are a bit heavier than a street bike and street bikes usually have a straight break cable or no brakes like mine and also you usually see more 25 tooth sprockets or chain-wheels on street bike but you also see them on some vert or park bikes but if you are going to be riding on ramps and do tricks and you dont know much about it i would recommend a 25 tooth so your sprocket/chain-wheel doesn't bottom out or hit the ramp when you drop in.
sorry for this being so long but its stuff that i thought would be helpful and if you buy from the source i put below or any online site read the description of the bike good and more than once before buying a bike also if in the picture of the bike it doesn't have breaks on it the bike was designed to be ridden brake-less and it will come with really really shitty breaks just to let you know and the number 1 thing you should know that if you get a bike online take it to a bike mechanic to tighten all the stuff cause not just the bolts are loosened the rims are and your bearing in your cranks usually are too i learned that the hard way i bent my rim after 2 days of riding my new bike because i didn't know the rims were a bit loose but they can deform if they are tight and sit for an extended time and every brand of bike does it it not some other than others again sorry it was so long but these are important things to know before you get a bike
