Best Bike for me??!?!?!?!?!!?

Okay im a beginner at bmx mi friends got me into it i quit skating so i can focus on biking,, im about 5 foot 9, which bike would be best for me the " Subrosa Salvador Street Bike 2010" or the "Eastern MetalHead 2009"

Heres the link if needed

Eastern- http://www.danscomp.com/101571.php?cat=BIKES

Subrosa- http://www.danscomp.com/101612.php?cat=BIKES

Get the Subrosa.
Eastern bikes suck really badly, mine broke a few days after I bought it and it has really crappy performance unless you change all the parts.
But if you're a beginner, then you might consider getting the eastern one.
Overall, I say get the Subrosa.

  • Your being very specific with what your looking for, which I like. However you might want to be flexible on some of the stuff. $500 USD can easily get you a full chromoly frame with 25/9 gearing but as the bike gets better, usually frames and handlebars get bigger and also they only have 1 or no brakes.

Pretty much, the only way your can get 7" bars, both brakes, and a 20" frame is to go with a lower end bike which you will sacrifice strength for. Or you could have a strong bike with 25/9 gearing but no 7" bars, both brakes, and 20" frame. Tough decision but keep in mind what your tricks will be in a few months.

It's especially hard to find a higher end model with brakes but if you REALLY want two brakes on then I'd suggest buying a new fork with brake mounts and find a separate front brake. It's probably not the best way and pretty expensive but it's the only way I can think of right now. If I were to ignore all your specifics and only focus on price, my recommendation would be the WeThePeople Trust.

    Good Luck on your findings.
