Duo Bmx Is the Premium Duo 2010 BMX Bike a good bmx?
I am looking to buy a good bmx, i dont mind price and i was seriously considering this one, but as i am not as clued up as some of you might be out there, i need some help onto how good it is!
So i ran a premium solo two years ago and I wasn't super impressed. It worked well for a few months but parts started breaking consistently after about 6 months. I'm pretty rough on my bike though, my friend got a duo right when i got my solo and his is still together. he doesn't ride it much though and is really easy on it when it comes to riding.(he didn't grind, jump big things or anything like that)
Most complete bikes come with the same stock components on them. the cranks, wheels, stem, seat post, chain, bars and forks are usually the same for most companies. the only differance between my stock forks and my friends stock forks on his fit was the color.
Its a good starter bike if you don't plan on riding seriously.
if you do want to really get into the sport, get a higher priced complete from a company like Sunday, Stolen, kink, Fit, or United. These companies are more respected by the BMX community as a whole and will most likely last you longer
