Symbolism in a Yellow Raft in Blue Water?
Hi, in the novel, "A Yellow Raft in Blue Water" by Michael Dorris, does anyone know what the rings that Christine gives to the people in her life [ie. Elgin, Dayton, Rayona and Aunt Ida] stand for and why she gave the rings to them? [they're an abalone ring, roadrunner, silver turtle, and marriage ring] Much help will be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
This should help. She gave the rings as prized possessions to those who were closest to her.

how does this sound for a low-low?
check it out would this be a bad low low
imagine in your mind...
1980 chevy monte carlo
black
silver or black dayton wire rims
2 ear centerpiece (center of the rim)
of-course hydraulics like 4-8 switches
another question is
what do the number of switches mean on a lowrider do they effect the height of the car or what????
help
thanks
well if u want black on black it would be black car black rims but i think black car and silver rims the hydraulics the # of the switches is well let me put it this way here in deming 2 switches lets it move like forward and back so the number of switches controls the parts that are gonna have the hydraulics so its going to move in all the directions u wane them to if u get 6 or 8 switches then its going to move everything cause the battery for the hydraulics is gonna be strong.
