Crank Bikes
Can i have a 3 piece crank on a bike that comes with a regular crank?
My bmx bike is a redline and it comes standard with regular cranks. Can i take them off and put a set of 3 piece cranks on?
Yes this is possible, and is very easy to do.
I would reccomend buying a set of cranks from www.danscomp.com.
You will probably get the best price on cranks and no matter which one you will buy, it will last you for a long time.
If you need someone to install them you can take your bike and the ordered cranks to your local shop, they will do it for a pretty low price.

How to fix a bike's crank?
So, my bike has difficulties pedaling on the right crank, i know the screw is loose, but if i tighten it too much the crank doesn't move at all. I think the crank is missing a rotor inside or something, but whenever I pedal, its more difficult to push on the right pedal than the left, its not really smooth. I somewhat know how to repair bikes, but I cannot analyze well. Could anyone tell me what could be wrong? Thanks.

I don't know if you have a 3 piece crank or a one piece.
Taking off an inner ring on a 3 piece crank has nothing to do with bearings or friction unless you have a front derailler adjustment problem.
