How do I get chrome on my car?
I want to get chrome lining on my car. For example, I want my door handles chrome, door frames chrome, and a few interior parts chrome. How would I go about doing this? (I have a 2002 Didge Stratus)
Start calling some body shops to see who they recommend for doing the work. If you want a proper chrome plating, you have to be able to completely remove the part and dunk it in an electrolytic bath (the company you find will do that, not you personally).
Plastic parts will require a chrome "coating," which is more like paint or gilding a figurine. For that, try a statuary or awards shop. They could help with the chrome plating, too.
