Campagnolo Record
can i use CAMPAGNOLO Record deraileurs with SRAM RED components?
I like everything about the SRAM RED group except the deraileurs. Can use CAMPY deraileurs and/or shifters with the rest of the components from the RED group?
So according to some of the answers I've gotten, the important thing is that the shifter goes with the crank/cassett?
Too bad... if you are basing the preference of derailleurs on looks I agree with you but SRAM Red derailleurs operate much nicer than Campys in my opinion.
Anyway, to answer your question, SRAM and Campy are not compatible.
EDIT: Aw, bad boy... the cable pull ratio is different on SRAM and Campy. The SRAM pulls too much cable (or not enough- I forget) and will force the Campy derailleur too far (or not far enough- I forget).
