Campagnolo Campy

Campagnolo Pro Fit Pedals: Anyone have any experience using this line of pedals (Record, Chorus, Centaur)?
Do you have any opinions regarding the quality of these Campy pedals? Some reviewers can't stand them (squeaks/noise), and others love them and say they are the best they ever rode. Do you believe these are quality pedals and worth the hefty price tags?
Your qualified opinions are appreciated.
My bike has Record cranks with Ultegra SPD SL's bolted to them.
I already had Shimano cleats on my shoes when I bought the new bike with Record. I test rode it with "proper" Record pedals with borrowed shoes. No difference in pedal feel while pedaling. Slight difference in disengagement (could have been adjustment) and I had to look down to engage for the first time in years. Probably because I was so familiar with the Shimano pedals they felt more... hmm like your favorite pair of jeans.
I bought a new set of Ultegra pedals for this bike - the new ones with the wide platform. They are great. At least a hundred dollars less than Record. Since I only endurance race comfort is everything to me so I went with what felt more comfortable.
I let my cranks and pedals argue amongst themselves about which is better.

Campagnolo nuovo record campy bike gear www.bikingthings.com
Campagnolo Record 10 and 11 compatibility?
I have a 2007 Campy Record 10 group set. I would like to upgrade to the Record 11. Is it possible to run with the Record 11 front and rear derailleurs but keep my Record 10 Carbon UT crankset?
If you replace the chainrings with 11 speed versions you'll be OK.
I am afraid you'll be very disappointed with the performance of the 11 speed stuff and the extreme cost of even the smallest thing... a chain rivet...check it out... then check the cost of the special tool you need to install that rivet.
In my humble opinion going to 11 speed is really not worth it. You aren't expanding your gear ratio at all and just have another "middle" gear.
