IS IT A CRIME TO BUY STOLEN BIKE PARTS IF YOU DIDINT KNOW THEY WERE STOLEN?
i bought some BMX bike parts off my friend and a detective came to my house and said they were stolen and he thinks i stole them or w/e i need some help! what should i do!
i bought the following
$100 blood oath bars for $25
$60 oddesy elemtry stem for 425
$125 hollowbite cranks for $35
and $50 animal sporcket for $5
i swear i didint know they were stolen i just though i had a good deal
also i spray apinted them white but not to cover anything up
If they were much cheaper than retail, they could say you SHOULD have know they were stolen.

Crucial Points When Buying A Bmx Bike
When choosing a BMX bike there are some very important points to consider.
Firstly, unless the buyer has a firm preference or specialist knowledge regarding a particular BMX discipline, it is probably wise to opt for a BMX bike that can perform a number of functions adequately well. In these instances a dealer will usually recommend a ‘dirt jumper’ or ‘jump bike.’
A dirt jumper will not only benefit the rider when learning some basic tricks (in other words learning some of the elements of what is known as ‘freestyle’ riding), but will also function very successfully when tackling specially prepared dirt track trails (in effect giving the rider a taste of the discipline of BMX racing.)

Finally, it is always advisable to opt for a BMX bike from one of the respected BMX brands, rather than a more generic model. The former is much more likely to provide the rider with certain design advantages when performing manoeuvres. It is also likely be prove more robust in the long run.
