Bmx Novelty
I want a bike and I live on campus and it is relatively flat. Should i get mountain bike or a BMX one?
I found a BMX one that i really like (looks, feel, etc...) but i am afraid that i will regret getting it after the novelty wears off. Any good suggestions?
I agree with the consensus that a bmx bike may not be the best choice. I would consider making my choice, however, based on whether or not you can take the bike inside, given you live on campus. If you must leave it outside, you may want something simple(i.e. singlespeed) and cheap. Maybe you can find a used ss road bike or mtb at roadbikereview.com or mtbr.com. Just make sure to get the right size. If you get it used and cheap you aren't necessarily limited to a singlespeed bike.
