WHATS A GOOD FLATLAND AND STREET BMX BIKE FOR BEGGINERS?
IM a few inches over 6 feet BTW. neeed your opinion/recommendation.
should i learn how to build my own or buy a full bike as a newbie then in the future buy parts for a custom build?
Flatland and Street are towo completely different styles of riding, and the bikes are usually completely different, too. The best hybrid bike I can think of is the DK Opsis or the DK Signal. Both are great for Flatland and light street.

I need to know if this is fair for someone who stole my bike.?
Okay, so about a week ago a kid stole my $500 bmx bike. I filed a police report and the whole nine yards. Later in the week I see a person who has my sprocket. I confronted the person and he told me of the person who sold him the sprocket. So I called the none emergency police phone number, and they contacted an officer. Anyways the kid gets caught with my bike parts, he had completely taken the bike apart. I'm missing parts, and the parts I do have, the bolts are stripped. Should I try and cut a deal with his parents to have them pay for me to buy new parts of my choice if I drop the charges? Which could be expensive, but it would save time, and he would have one of the charges dropped. I am an avid bmxer, and I hate not being able to ride. I'm sure if we cut a deal for $800 it would still be less than restitution+court fees. And I wouldn't have to wait 2 months to go through the court systems.

a good bike will cost you $300+. My bike costed 500 and now it is worth like 600. danscomp.com is a very good place to look they have anything for bmx. that is where i got my bike. it doesnt matter how tall you are because all bmx bikes are the same basic size. They have 20inch wheels and around 20 inch toptube.
