How do you deactivate the anti-theft system on a Chevy Malibu?
I cant start my car or do any thing in it. an any one help out and,tell me how to get the anti-theft system light to go off.
You can't de-activate the system. It's electronic meaning the BCM has to send a digital message to the PCM to allow the motor to start and run. Thankfully, these units were not too hard or expensive to fix. I am speaking of factory one, not an added on type as those are crap and usually cause the factory one to trigger. The usual problem in these cars to cause this is the actual ignition switch in the dash, not the cyliinder, the electrical part. It will start to have a resistance across some of the internal contacts which gives a different voltage to the BCM which interprets this as tampering. They aren't too hard to change nor an expensive part. To be sure, get the BCM and PCM scanned and it will tell you what is acting up.

I just hope you study Austrian economics, it has been proven well, and having a free economy without regulation reduces hunger of corruption, increases more competition, creates more jobs, a booming economy, and therefore enjoying a free economy that is heavily controlled by people, businesses, and other private/public sectors.
