Good animal rights books?
I'm looking for good books to read on animal welfare/rights. Can anyone recommend anything particularly gripping that they've read? I'm interested in the meat/dairy industry, and animal testing in particular.
I did an internet search but I'm lost as there're so many! I preferably would like something that's informative (and truthful) without being too fanatical.
Thank you for injecting some of your valued wit an intelligence Kevin. Not all people interested in animals give a toss about animal rights, so on the whole I think my best chance is in this section. Keep the smart a** comments rolling though, you've clearly got nothing better to do and I would hate to spoil your fun
