how to get a tigth crank off?
ok, on my bmx iv got a really stiff/tight bolt holding my crank to the sprocket, (i trying to take the sprocket off) iv got an alan key that fits but its just too hard to turn, iv got a few m8s to hav a go and some really Strong guys. still wont budge i was wondering if i would need a different tool or i need a mechanic to look at it or something, after all it was put on by one so... btw its about 10mm hole please help
Try soaking it with WD-40 THen take the allen key and find a pipe that is narrow enough to fit the other end of the key into.Where there is little play.Use the pipe as a torque.Make sure you are turning it the right direction.Some are reverse threads.
